Large shoplifting scheme nets 3 arrests www.privateofficer.com


FREDERICK, Md. - Three Washington, D.C., residents were arrested Wednesday after they allegedly stole more than $14,000 worth of merchandise from Kohl's over two days, the Frederick County Sheriff's Department said.

Kenyota L. Williams, 30; Donald C. Cheadle, 28; and Rashid M. Bey, 41, were each charged with theft over $500, theft scheme over $500 and conspiring to commit theft over $500, the department said in a news release.
Merchandise valued at $2,300 was recovered Wednesday at the Guilford Drive department store, and investigation revealed the men had taken more than $12,000 worth of merchandise from the same store Saturday, deputies said.

Few details of the arrest have been released and it is unknown whether loss prevention or police officers became aware of the crimes and made the arrests.
