Police were called to the K-Mart in North Charleston by security officers who had been notified of a sexual assault incident in the restroom of the store.
According to a police report a twelve year old boy was in a stall when someone began grabbing him from an adjacent stall. The boy was able to escape and notified his mother of what had happened and she in turned notified a store employee who called security.
The suspect accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old at K-Mart in North Charleston last night was in bond court Thursday morning.
Sean Bryan McNeal is accused of trying to grab the boy from underneath a bathroom stall in the Super K on Rivers Avenue.
The boy says he was able to get away and tell his mother what happened.
Store security tracked McNeal down and held him until police could get there.
