SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury police say they are publicizing shoplifting arrests in order to decrease the number of such thefts associated with the holiday season.

Talesha Denise Simmons, 19, of Crisfield, Md. was arrested for theft less than $500 from Boscovs. Police say Simmons attempted to steal clothing and jewelry. She was released to Central Booking.
Patrick Durron Butler, Jr., 18, of Salisbury was arrested for theft less than $500 and theft scheme less than $500 from Rugged Warehouse. Police say Butler attempted to steal clothing and shoes. He was released to Central Booking.
Sheena Rochelle Williams, 25, of Salisbury was arrested for theft less than $500 from Wal-Mart. Police say Williams attempted to steal clothing and appliances. She was released to Central Booking.
A 17-year-old juvenile of Cambridge, Md. was arrested for theft less than $100 from Sears. Police say the juvenile attempted to steal clothing. The juvenile was released to the custody of a parent.
16-year-old and 15-year-old juveniles, both of Bivalve, Md. were arrested for theft less than $100 from Wal-Mart. Police say the juveniles attempted to steal food and compact discs. Both were released to their parents.
A 17-year-old juvenile of Greenwood, Del. was arrested for theft less than $500 from Boscov's. Police say the juvenile attempted to steal clothing. According to police, the juvenile also used siblings, ages six and seven, in attempt to conceal clothing. The juvenile was released to a guardian.
