Two woman shopping at the Green Acres mall were shot Sundayaccording to Nassau County police. Officers there say that they were notified and responded to the shooting early Sunday afternoon and are continuing their investigation.

Police and security officers closed the mall after recieving a bomb threat. Officers made a complete search but did not locate anything that resembled a bomb. The mall had been evacuated during the search.



PHILADELPHIA ― Three suspects are under arrest after leading police on a pursuit spanning two states early Monday morning. Philadelphia Police began pursuit of a stolen tan-colored GMC Yukon in the Kensington section of the city at about 7 a.m. Officers broke off their chase when the suspects entered northbound I-95 at a high rate of speed. Chopper 3 stayed with the speeding vehicle as it crossed the Betsy Ross Bridge into Pennsauken, New Jersey. "I just continued following it, it is just the cop in me," Chopper 3 pilot Ray Oeschlin, a retired police officer, said. The suspects ended up at the Cherry Hill Mall, where all three exited the vehicle and entered the mall. Police quickly arrived at the scene and arrested the three suspects, two males and a juvenile female. "Helicopters are invaluable in law enforcement, for this to happen peacefully and work is another set of eyes and ears the police can always use," Lt. William Kushina of the Cherry Hill Police Department said. The owner of the SUV eventually received her vehicle back undamaged. The identities of the suspects have not been released.



GAITHERSBURG MD — A man was stabbed at a bus stop outside Lakeforest Mall Monday evening in Gaithersburg.It happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. In the 9600 block of Lost Knife Road. Police said the victim was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.Police are looking for a suspect described as a black male...
